It can feel like as soon as October hits the hustle and bustle of the holidays begins in a flash, but I am going to let you in on one big piece of advice for new parents. Jump into your holiday shopping early! You will be shocked at how many things you feel the need to get accomplished through the holiday season, and by having your shopping done early you will have check one thing off the list giving you a little more time to soak in the memories. Luckily, Walmart has already rolled out the Walmart Holiday toy list for this year and there are some great toy options to jump on for your little ones. Our Top Picks from Walmart’s Holiday Toy List
I love holiday shopping trips and the busy feeling this part of the year brings, but actually finding something on these trips is a whole different story. I would much rather order presents online from somewhere like Walmart who have doubled there number of holiday toys this year and then spend my time browsing for little extras when I go out holiday shopping. I curated the list below of top rated toys to make your holiday shopping a little easier, too!
Timeless Toys
I played endlessly with my Barbie Styling Head as a child, so I was very excited to see that they are back and on Walmart’s Holiday Toy List this year. Of course, the toy our little one was most excited about trying out was the Baby Alive Lulu Achoo.
This sweet doll has over 50 reactions and sounds making it one of the most realistic Baby Alive dolls out there. There are little doctor accessories which your child will love as she diagnoses what is wrong with Baby Lulu Achoo.

Take car tracks to a whole new level with the Hot Wheels Massive Loop Mayhem Track Set with 28-In Wide Track Loop & 1 Car. This set has a massive loop that your child will love. Below are some more toys from Walmart that spark the imagination.
Not-So-Pretend-Pet
You might not be feeling ready for a real pet at home, despite your child begging you daily. Instead, you can opt for one of these not-so-pretend-pet toys! My pick is definitely the furReal Sweet Jammiecorn Unicorn Interactive Plush Light-Up Toy. My little girl is obsessed with unicorns and this one is absolutely adorable. Plus, it is interactive making different sounds and reactions so it actually keeps her entertained.

Edutainment Expression
Finding toys that educate our children that they will truly enjoy is always a goal of mine. Walmart has several great toys that your child will love and educate them.

Finding this under the Christmas tree will be something they remember forever! It looks just like a real jeep and even has doors that open and close. Best of all, it’s easy to put together and charge so you can avoid any Christmas morning mishaps.

On-Screen Favorite Character Toys
I can’t be the only one that’s been subject to watching a lot of CoComelon this past year. If you’re in the same boat, your little one will love this CoComelon School Bus. It has interactive buttons including the alphabet, numbers, and nursery rhymes to help your little one get a head start on learning.

Overall, Walmart is a top spot to grab some toys this holiday season and I would recommend jumping on shopping early this year before several of these top toys end up sold out. And most importantly don’t forget to embrace the fun of shopping during the holiday season, it is one of my favorite times of year to find gifts my children will love.
