I haven’t had great luck with blow up baby pools in the backyard. I feel like we have to buy a new one every year, they’re difficult to clean, hard to blow up, and throwing them out feels eco-evil. I am a huge fan of the baby pool as a way to keep my kid busy, if you’ve got one you want to invite my kids to use, however.
So after several years of having a baby pool for the summer, we’ve downgraded. This year, we have a tupperware container.
The toddlers seem just as happy when they come over, and since they can’t lie down on their tummies, it’s actually a little safer.

Oh, and don’t mind my hairy leg in this picture. I keep forgetting to buy razors.
