While I can’t always remember what Santa Claus does from year to year, I always remember my favorite family tradition to purchase matching pajamas for my children that they open on Christmas Eve.
For sizes from toddler to tween, check out these candy-cane striped Santa pajamas (also for mom! Am I too excited?) for about $17.
These Christmas-y Leveret green and red striped PJs are about $14 for preschooler and toddler sizes. And — lucky you! — they also come in mama’s sizes, too! My boys wear these year-round.
These reindeer long johns are available for $16 in size 3T to 14. Can you imagine a 14 year-old in these? Now I can’t stop thinking of all the cousins lined up in front of the stockings.
This flannel pajama package comes sized for the whole family and the pet. I thought they were too cute not to share, but I will warn you that sizes and prices vary wildly from $9 to $60 each.
I love this plaid jammie set for all ages. How adorable would your two-year old be in these flannel lumberjack “manjamas”? You can somewhat easily sew a matching set of cozy bottoms for the rest of the family using Whitney’s tutorial. I love sleeping in flannel and hate sleeping in fleece, if you’re wondering.
Ho ho ho! Dress your tot like Santa’s favorite elf and crack yourself up all year long. Prices range from about $13 to $20 and sizes are for toddler’s and preschoolers. Our family has a Santa hat just for fun that would top off this outfit perfectly for about $6.
These candy cane striped pajamas by Hatley exceed my typical threshold of $20 for a good deal, but they will last forever (sizes 2 to 12). In my experience, they run a bit small. Smaller toddler sizes also available.
While I love matching pajamas, I don’t always find holday-themed jammies in the price range I like. One year, I had my three- and one-year old in silly dinosaur sleepwear. So, really anything goes.
In this picture of my sons from last year, their cozy striped Christmas Eve pajamas were not Christmas colors so I reset the photo filter to black + white. Can you guess what colors they really are? Here are your choices.
