Balancing life with a baby can be tough. Sometimes it feels nearly impossible to get anything done, especially when you don’t have a free hand. I mean it’s not a bad thing to want to hold your little one 24/7, but I think we could all use a break sometimes! That is why you should trust me when I say, finding a baby bouncer that your little one loves will be a wonderful thing for both of you.
It will be a lifesaver for you and your little one might just love it, too! It will allow you to get the dishes done or fold that laundry that’s been out for a week or perhaps even sit down for a minute (hey, a mom can dream can’t she) Here are the best baby bouncers for 2023!

What You Need to Know About Baby Bouncers
Bouncers are soft fabric seats with a harness to strap your baby in that, well, bounce! Your little one will love feeling like they’re being bounced or rocked even when they can’t be in your arms.
With the awesome modern options on the market, you can find a bouncer with different motions, reclining positions, and sounds to soothe your baby. Even if your baby loves their bouncer seat, be sure that they are getting plenty of tummy time and cuddles with you. These things are very important for their development!
Also, keep in mind, a bouncer can only be safely used before your baby starts moving around on their own. They will grow out of their bouncer by about 9 months unless you purchase a grow-with-me bouncer that transitions into something else.
Best Baby Bouncers of 2023
Ergobaby 3-in-1 Evolve Bouncer – Best Overall!
The Ergobaby Evolve Bouncer provides a safe space to set your baby down when you need to get things done. I love that it is easy to set up and move around. It also folds down nearly flat which is great for storage and travel.
Plus, it has 3 different modes so it can grow along with your baby. It goes from a newborn bouncer to an infant lounger to a toddler seat, making it well worth the investment in my opinion. The newborn insert made me feel much better about a little one’s safety in the seat and I love that you are able to easily change the height of the seat to fit your needs.
Fisher-Price Ingenuity Keep Cozy 3-in-1 Seat – Baby Bouncer with the Best Movement
Babies love bouncers that keep things moving, and this Fisher-Price bouncer and rocker does just that. I like that, once you get your baby started, it will keep bouncing or rocking for quite some time.
This bouncer has 2 reclining positions and a removable newborn insert so that you can get the seat just right for them. There is also a comfy (easily washable!) seat pad and calming vibrations.
You can eventually turn this into a toddler rocker as well! There will be a break period, though, between your baby outgrowing the infant seat and being ready to sit up in the toddler rocker on their own. During this time you will have to store the baby bouncer, but trust me it’s worth it. Toddlers love having a place of their own to sit down in!
Graco Duet Soothe Swing + Rocker – The Bouncer You Need if Your Baby Hates Being Put Down
Not only have I used this bouncer & rocker combo with my baby, but I also have several friends who used it with theirs. The seat can be used as a bouncer or attached to the stand to be used as a swing.
There is a handle so that you can lift and move the bouncer from room to room, which is so nice when you are trying to get things done around the house. I also love that it comes in neutral colors so that it can be passed down to your next baby.
The swing is the ultimate way to lull your baby to sleep. One of my little ones was so hard to put down for a nap, but I figured out that if I rocked her to sleep and then slowly placed her in the swing with my hand on her belly she would stay asleep. It was my only way to get a little break sometimes! Make sure you are monitoring your baby at all times in the swing though.
4Moms MamaRoo4 – Best High-Tech Baby Bouncer
I definitely believe in doing some things the old fashion way when it comes to parenting, but this high-tech baby bouncer seat is worth every penny. It can bounce in different motions, meaning it mimics how mom and dad rock. Plus, you can control both the motion and sound through Bluetooth with your phone!
Not to mention, it’s super smooth and won’t jolt your baby awake if they’re napping. If your baby does get a little fussy, you can soothe them by changing the motion with a simple swipe on your phone.
Summer Infant Pop n Jump Portable Baby Activity Center – The Best Baby Seat for On the Go
It’s hard enough to get out the door with a baby, so the idea of bringing a bouncer along with you seems unthinkable. That is, of course, until you see the Summer Infant Pop n Jump Activity Center which is so lightweight and easy to fold up you will actually want to bring it along with you.
It comes with a UV canopy for outdoor adventures and a travel bag. Just think about how much easier a beach day or park outing will be if you have a spot to entertain your littlest!
The Best Options for Your Transition from Baby Bouncer to Bouncer Chair
When your baby becomes mobile, you will need to transition from bouncer to bouncer chair, also known as a jumper. It would be tragic if your baby attempted to roll over and tipped the bouncer in the process. Plus, your baby is probably ready to move around a bit more at this point anyways.
Bouncers and jumpers do differ, but we have included some jumpers at the bottom of our list since they are both a safe spot to set your baby down when you need a free hand.
Fisher-Price Animal Activity Jumperoo – A Jumper That Grows with Your Baby
Fisher-Price is one of the most well-known brands for all things baby related. They know what they are doing when it comes to toys that make mom and baby happy.
This is a stand-alone jumper with the cutest little animal toys to play with all 360 degrees around. It adjusts to three different heights, so it can grow with your baby!
Jolly Jumper Exerciser with Portable Stand – The Best Jumper for Small Spaces
You really can have the best of both worlds at least when it comes to baby jumpers. Jolly Jumper Exerciser is a traditional jumper that can be clipped onto your doorway, but they also sell a stand attachment making for a wide variety of placement options.
Another special thing about this jumper is the seat, which is more like your fabric baby carrier than a bucket seat. It fits snugly around your baby, so you know they’re locked in tight and safe while jumping around.
This simple seat design also means it’s very easy to fold up and put into storage until the next baby comes along and is ready to get jumping.
Skip Hop Explore and More Jumpscape Foldaway Jumper – Best Simple & Budget-Friendly Option
This is the best baby jumper if you are looking for something simple but still full of fun entertainment. It’s a stand-alone jumper, but it’s definitely more compact than some of the other options.
Not only is it less bulky, but it is also very easy to fold up if you want to put it away or even bring it over to grandma’s house. It does have a rattle, a mirror, and some other sensory toy attachments which are just enough to keep your baby’s interest.
Infant Skip Hop 3 Stage Activity Center – Best Baby Bouncer, Jumper, and Seat Combo
From a seat to a bouncer, to a play table if you end up with the Infant Skip Hop Activity Center it’s sure to be a long-running favorite for your child.
On top of how versatile this bouncer is, it was made in collaboration with a pediatrician who wanted to support “a whole body approach to play and learning” so it will help them grow from their head to their toes.
My favorite feature of all though is that in the bouncer stage, there is a piano attachment that can be placed at their feet!
Disney Baby Finding Nemo Sea of Activities Jumper – Best Jumper for Busy Babies
Calling all Disney fans!! This bouncer is Nemo-themed and absolutely adorable. There are lights, music, and all the main characters in the movie. The toys are all super interactive, so your baby will love them.
It’s very simple to adjust the height of this bouncer, which is always a bonus since babies never stop growing.
I hope this list has helped you figure out what stage your baby is in, either bouncer or jumper, and helped you to find the perfect fit! You really can’t go wrong with any of them, but my personal favorite bouncer would have to be the Graco Duet Soothe Swing + Rocker. You just can’t go wrong with this 2-in-1 option.
It will soothe even the crankiest of babies, it is easy to move around, and will last long enough to pass down to your next baby. As for jumpers, we love the Disney Baby Finding Nemo Sea of Activities Jumper. It is so cute and has so many different things for your baby to discover.
