Santa has spoken. The winner of the Windows 7 phone was Miranda with the suggestion of: Less cooking. More enjoying. She makes double batches and then freezes food so that she can cook once but enjoy lots!
We had many other great ideas from readers, too many to mention them all, but I chose a few of my favorites to share:
Less entrance fees. More free entertainment. Diane and Irene suggested getting more fun out of the local library by renting (free) videos, checking out museum passes, and enjoying story hour. We couldn’t agree more.
Less waste. More easy dinners. Jearv suggested turning leftovers into the filling for quesadillas. I love to do that with my rotisserie chicken. It’s much easier to pull the meat off when the chicken is still warm.
Less closet clutter. More free clothes. Sharon hosts clothing swaps to exchange don’t-likes and never-worns for things you’ll love. I love a yearly clothing swap (especially after the holidays!) to refresh my wardrobe.
Less junk food. More happy kids. Emily always packs snacks to avoid low-blood-sugar crashes and needless fast food stops.
