A day in the life of your child changes monthly, doesn’t it? In the first month of life, it might be 45% pictures of a sleeping swaddled baby; 45% half-asleep sucking and slurping baby; and 10% screaming and flailing. By the end of the first year, you’ve got a few meals of solid food, some scooting, toy throwing, and sock pulling. So many photo opps.
I love the idea of documenting a day in the life of your baby because later, they will be fascinated by it. I so regret that we don’t have a good picture of Julian’s first nanny. She watched him 30 hours per week from four months to 18 months, and I was too embarassed to ask her to take her picture pushing his stroller, reading him Goodnight Moon, and spoon-feeding him my breast milk (because people, that kid NEVER did take a bottle.) Now, he can’t remember her. Bad mommy.
Enough about me. This is a Reader Did-Do.
Tegan just posted a day in the life of her 15-month old toddler. I love how she captioned them. Take a look.
