Pregnancy should be one of the periods of life where you feel the most beautiful. I mean come on, you are literally creating a life with your awesome body. This does not mean it’s always cheap. While I love to find an excuse to search for a new outfit, it is incredibly costly to find a whole new wardrobe. And one, that lasts for just a few months. Luckily some ingenious women came up with a company to rent maternity clothes. Yes, that is right, you can rent maternity clothes. Which means you don’t have to store them until your next pregnancy or worry about getting rid of them. There are tons of different stores that offer a rental option. We’ve found all the best ones for you and linked them right here. So what are you waiting for?!
5 Incredible places to Rent Maternity Clothes
Le Tote
This is one of the most popular options mamas look to when searching out a way to rent maternity clothes. You don’t have to switch to boring clothes just because you’re pregnant, in fact you can still find things that fit exactly your style. Keep in mind this is a subscription service that will basically send you a box of clothes to try monthly.
You will begin your Le Tote membership by filling out a style quiz which will take you through questions asking everything from which kinds of shirts you wear most (tunics, boho, graphic) to different pants (denim, active, jumpsuits). It also asks you about jewelry and brand preferences so by the end, they have a pretty good idea of your personal fashion. Guys, the even have you type in your zip-code so that they keep you in the the latest fashions in your local area. So cool!
From there, you will choose 1 of 3 subscription plans ranging from $59 to $99. The higher you go up the more items you receive per month. Once you receive the box, you can choose to buy the items inside or send them back. Shipping is free both ways! One the greatest things about Le Tote is that there’s no commitment, so you can cancel at any time.
Cost: $59-$99 for subscription box

Rent the Runway
Rent the Runway is popular for both normal and maternity clothes rentals, so this is one to keep in mind for after baby too. In fact, I just used rent the runway for a recent gala I had to go to, because I wan’t feeling paying a few hundred dollars for a new dress. You’ll be able to have a fun updated wardrobe for the rest of your days if you fall in love with renting clothes.
This particular store is a nice option because you can choose to rent individual items or you can sign up for two different subscription services. Their items rent individually beginning at $30 and the subscription service ranges from $89-$159. With the unlimited option, anytime you send an item back you make room for another item to be sent to you instead of having to wait a month in between.
You can browse their items by searching through their categories of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd trimester. You can also see some photos of outfits stylish mamas have put together and what they recommend trying. This is so helpful if you’re like me and want to be trendy, but get a little bit lost in mom world and need a little push in the right direction. This is my #1 recommendation if you are looking for an outfit to go to a special occasion in, whether it’s your sorority sister’s wedding or your very own baby shower RTR will provide you with the perfect dress to rent.
PS Don’t forget to use the 20% off code given to you when you first sign up.

This is one of the few maternity rental services where you really just rent by item, as opposed to receiving a box every month. So, there’s no membership complicating things. It’s pretty much as simple as it gets. They also have a bunch of really cute bathing suits, which is awesome for moms who are pregnant during the summer months. It’s perfect for moms who really know what they want and need already.
When you search through this site you see both the purchase and rental price listed right next to each other, and almost all items are available for both. This way if you see something you are absolutely sure about, you can just buy it right then. Le Belle Bump
I couldn’t tell you why multiple rental companies begin with “Le” but it just sounds so chic, so here’s my kast but certainly not least choice for maternity rentals. Le Belle Bump was created by a mom who knows the struggles of shopping for maternity clothes with other toddlers in tow and how hard it is to justify buying new cute clothes you know you can only wear for the next few months. It’s nice to shop from a company founded by someone who has been in the same boat!
Hands down the coolest thing about this company is that if you comment on any instagram or facebook photo #mybumpbox, they will add that item to one of your future boxes! I mean, how cool is that, you don’t even need to leave your scrolling through instagram to do your shopping.
This is a rental subscription box with a real human stylist choosing the items they think you will like best based on their comprehensive questionnaire. You can keep the item for as long or as little as you’d like. Shipping is free both ways and they do all the cleaning professionally so you don’t have to worry about it. They also have the option to rent individual dresses for special occasions, but there aren’t a ton of options if you’re looking for something very specific.
Cost: $65.55 to $94.05 for box, varies for individual items
Type: Subscription or Individual Special Occasions
