Activity #56: Blog it

bloggerDo you have a whole world of people interested in your baby’s first pictures and experiences? Or do you just think that?

Either way… A blog (derived from the word weblog) is an easy, fun way to share your reflections and pictures with loved ones (and everyone). If you’re not particularly tech-savvy, Sites like blogger and TypePad can walk you through the whole process.

TypePad is another place to startChris Brogan gives very helpful step-by-step instructions on how to set up an easy family photo blog on blogger with cool-looking pictures from flickr.

A word of caution though: Everyone (friends, ex-boyfriends, your boss, and yo’ mama) can see your site once you put it up there, so think twice about what kind of pictures you publish and statements you make!

So, put your big belly photos up for the world to see and make room for baby online.

Also for those who have siblings with babies, too so there can be one photo site for the whole family. [...]
